MS Engineering, Inc. (MSE) carries one year parts & labor limited warranty on MSE branded products. The warranty period starts from the date of original packing list or sales invoice, whichever is earlier. All other branded products' warranties offers & claims are handled by the respective manufacturers. All software sales are final. Monitors, notebook computers, & printers are not refundable & their warranty will be granted by their manufacturers respectively. These products must be handled through an authorized service center and cannot be returned to MSE. MSE will assist customers in arranging for these repairs. However, common shipping and handling charges to & from the repair center (both-ways) is the customer's responsibility.
Warranty shall be considered VOID for any of the following reasons:
- unauthorized service, modification, or re-engineering
- damage caused by any workmanship other than MSE provided
- damage due to accidents, misuse, or negligence
Return Policy & Procedure
Please call 1-408-257-4249 for Return Merchandise Authorization (R.M.A.) number before shipping back any merchandise for warranty service or refund. The R.M.A. Number is valid for 15 days only from the date issued. It is the customer's responsibility to pay one-way shipping to MSE for warranty service or D.O.A. replacement. Unauthorized return will be refused & may be delayed or void for any future warranty service. All returned merchandise must be accompanied by 1.) A valid R.M.A. Number 2). Copy of original sales receipt (showing products' serial number) , 3). The original container 4). Must include all packing materials, catalogues, manuals, cables & accessory items.
Goods returned for repair will be replaced or repaired at our discretion. MSE reserves the right to repair or to replace a defective item for a reasonable period of time in order to be repaired in our workshop or by returning it to the manufacturer. MSE is NOT responsible for unavailability of parts or losing customer's data caused by repairing. The warranty of the replacements or repaired parts is bounded to the original warranty period. Goods that we find defective due to defects in materials of our workmanship will be returned shipping via U.P.S. Standard (ground) service. However, the customer must pay the difference for other faster shipping methods or use the customer's own carrier. Goods that have been damaged due to customer's improper operation, misuse, or mistreatment will be repaired or replaced for a charge on a case by case basis, or be considered voided
warranty. Any merchandise returned as defective that tested to be in working order will not be replaced & will be returned C.O.D. or freight pre-paid for the shipping & handling charge. The customer needs to pay the full price of the merchandise & two-way shipping when asking for Advanced Swap for defective parts. A full credit will be issued for the merchandise, no shipping, if the defective parts were received in two weeks by MSE. No cross-shipment is available for warranty service.
Any discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipts. Defective monitors must be reported & returned for EXCHANGE, no refund, within 2 days after delivery. All accessories, manuals, original packaging materials & carton must be present & in good condition. All other hardware merchandise's defective (D.O.A.) period is 7 days after delivery. D.O.A. will be repaired or replaced at our options. After the D.O.A. period, all hardware merchandise must be repaired or replaced per manufacturer's warranty specifications.
1 - 7 days after delivery: 100% refund for software in-compatibility for MSE branded products only. Compatibility is NOT guaranteed for other branded products. All other returns are subjective to a 15% re-stocking fee. No refund on used items, except MSE branded products in this period. 8 - 30 days after delivery: 85% store credit for MSE branded products only. NO CASH REFUND. After 30 days of delivery: no refund or store credit will be given.
Refund applies to merchandise & correspondent sales tax only; freight & labor charges are not refundable for any returns. No refund or credit can be given for special order merchandise. Deposit is not refundable for any orders.
Buyer agrees to pay $30 & any additional collection fee for each returned check. Seller's liabilities are limited to total amount on the invoice only.
